Babyproducts with textiles

The product group comprises baby products, where the surface in contact with the child is of textile and where the child has skin contact or other close contact with the textile on using the product. 

The criteria document for baby products with textile is an overall document for the commodity groups:

  • Prams/strollers, push chairs and baby joggers 
  • Bicycle trailers (with textile)
  • Kombination products of the above products

  • Changing mats/-cushions/-pillows 
  • Carry/sleeping bags/play rugs/-mats (not covered by the EU's Toy directive)
  • Nursing pillows/cot bumpers/baby nests/head protection in prams

  • Baby chairs with textile in the form of recliners, sedan chairs, bouncy chairs
  • Baby carriers, baby slings and pram harnesses
  • Baby jumping swings
  • Infant travel beds

A separate fee is paid for each commodity group according to above list.

Extension of existing licence

The price of extensions with new products: EUR 2.000 + VAT per product*

Other amendments to an existing licence is
< 4 hours: EUR 250 + VAT
< 8 hours: EUR 500 + VAT
More than 8 hours: EUR 1.000 + VAT


Licence fee for the Nordic region
 0.3% of turnover + VAT per year per product group for EUR 0-50 mio.

 0.05% of turnover + VAT per year per product group for EUR < 50 mio.
 Minimum fee for the Nordic region
 EUR 1.000 + VAT per year per product group 
 Maximum fee for the Nordic region
 No maximum fee

*Products that are very similar in material and function and located in the same product group will be chargeable as one product.
